Handyman in Fall River, Massachusetts

My name is Duane Pacheco and I am a handyman with a very wide assortment of trade skills. I have 30 years experience spread between several primary trades. I love finish woodworking, but can do much more. I specialize in small jobs, and will consider any that will keep me busy for at least 2 hours. I will also take on larger projects so don't hesitate to contact me. My rate is $25/hour for all work. I prefer finish work like building and installing cabinets, but I can easily do many other tasks including: • Sidewalls -- Red or white cedar shingles, clapboards, vinyl siding, including trim work. 1 story only for new construction. • Flooring -- wood, tile, linoleum , pergo -- installs and repairs • Framing -- floors, walls, door and window rough openings, decks, etc. • Stairways -- simple straight runs to complex designs with landings • Interior trim -- doors, windows, baseboards, crown mouldings, etc. • Interior cabinets for any room can be fixed/constructed from scratch or with pre-built components. • Install/repair replacement windows • Hang doors -- entry, interior, sliding, french • Small decks and porches I have worked as a repair and installation expert for a historical window restoration company in Rhode Island. I did full restorations of many types of windows. I am able to replace glass and glaze windows as needed. I and am fully versed and available to rehab your historic weighted windows back to a fully functional state. This work can be labor intensive so the time estimates must be determined on a job by job basis. I also turn wood on a lathe and can fabricate corbels, finials, balusters, spindles, and more. I really enjoy turning writing pens, and have several available at any given time. Next up is a wide assortment of maintenance skills including, but not limited to: • Painting -- interior walls, trim, ceilings or exterior sidewalls, trim, fencing, etc. as the weather permits • Plumbing -- fix leaking fixtures, replace/repair toilets install/repair sinks, etc. • Electrical -- install outlets, switches, light fixtures, ceiling fans, smoke detectors. etc. Fix bad switches/outlets • Tile work -- Tile floors, showers, tubs, backsplashes, kickboards. Porcelain, ceramic, and stone. • Sheetrock repairs -- cracks, wet spots (must no longer be leaking), damaged corners, holes, all can be repaired. • Wallpapering also available for vinyl, paper, or cloth • Window and door opening treatments can be installed - mini blinds, vertical blinds, picture hanging, curtains, etc • Assembling units like swing sets, baby cribs, carriages, kids toys, or just about anything you can think of.
