Handyman in Richmond, Virginia

Hello, as the title says I am a high school shop teacher in the greater Richmond area, and I am looking for part-time/supplemental income from odd jobs and handyman work. I am not a licensed or insured contractor, but I am friendly, professional, and trustworthy. In order to teach public school, I was required to pass state and federal background checks. As such, I will be happy to show you my county badge, and even present my background checks if you are so inclined to ask. I do not claim to be an expert in anything, but here are some areas in which I have experience= Framing Drywall hanging and finishing/repair Minor plumbing repairs and fixture installation Vinyl plank, sheet, tile, as well as some ceramic tile flooring Trim work/repair/installation Caulking/weatherproofing Window installation Vinyl siding Small roofing jobs, roll/shingle,metal Door knobs and locks Painting Minor electrical work/repair/installation Woodworking/cabinet making/furniture refinishing Yard work/mowing/clearing, planting Small concrete jobs(patio and sidewalk installation/repair. And probably more that I am forgetting about. I am interested in any and all jobs, but reserve the right to decline a job if it is outside of my expertise or comfort zone. I will charge 10-20 dollars/hour depending on the job(cash or check), materials not included. I will do my best to give you a quote before I start any work, but I cannot guarantee an accurate quote.
