Type of Employment: Full Time – Permanent Estimated Start Date: As soon as possible Job Description: Load, unload and transport construction materials Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, and barricades Mix, pour and spread materials Assist heavy equipment operators Level earth to fine grade specifications Pave and rake asphalt Clean and pile salvaged materials Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction Direct traffic at or near construction sites Read and interpret blueprints Clean trailer and equipment after each job Operate various power tools, compactors, and rototillers Pour cold mix asphalt and concrete Prepare materials and job site Assist with landscaping, laying sod, aggregates, and topsoil Place pylons and caution/danger tapes where necessary on job site Requirements: Education: Not required. Experience: Experience is an asset. On-the-job training will be provided.
