Type of Employment: Full Time – Permanent Estimated Start Date: As soon as possible Job Description: Perform routine maintenance work Direct traffic at or near construction sites Load, unload and transport construction materials Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks shoring and barricades Assist heavy equipment operators Assist in aligning pipes during pipeline construction Level earth to fine grade specifications Inform motorist of possible detour routes Place traffic cones and construction signs Drive traffic control truck Install traffic signs Requirements: Education: No degree, certificate or diploma is required. Experience: Not required. On-the-job training will be provided A valid driver’s license is required (Type 5) Work under different weather conditions Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Work under pressure, Physically demanding, Tight deadlines, Repetitive tasks, Attention to detail, Overtime required, Combination of sitting, standing, walking, Standing for extended periods, Bending, crouching, kneeling Personal Suitability: Accurate, Efficient interpersonal skills, Team player, Initiative, Judgement, Organized Work site environment: Outdoors, Noisy, Dusty Weight handling: Up to 45 kg (100 lbs).
