Handyman Job in Hopewell, Virginia

Hi. I am currently seeking a general handyman who has knowledge of common household appliances, in this instance, the portable dishwasher in my kitchen that has recently started to leave water standing in the bottom of the tub after running the complete wash/rinse cycle. I have the tended to do some basic troubleshooting and there does not appear to be anything with the dishwasher's running of each cycle. It completes the full process however after it is finished, when I open the door, water is filled to the rim of the tub and I have to scoop it out with a cup until there is none left in the bottom. The water has not spilled out onto the kitchen floor fortunately, so I was thinking that that might possibly indicate that there is not a clog in the pipes, but then again I am no plumber by any means. I really would like to get this dishwasher working properly again and I am looking for someone reasonable. I am single and unemployed currently due to some health issues I experienced recently; however, you will definitely be paid for whatever the job is worth. I am fair, trustworthy, easy to get along with, and an all-around decent individual and I'm looking for the same someone to work with me on this issue; and perhaps, on other issues around the house I might have as well, if things work out.
