Business Address: 110 Southampton Parkway, Sauble Beach, ON, N0H 2G0 Work Location: Same as above and 593 Bruce Rd 8 Con 9 Lot 15 Sauble Beach, ON, Canada N0H 2G0 Type of Employment: Seasonal – 8-months contract Anticipated Start Date May 1st, 2024 Job Duties: Sweep, mop, scrub and wax hallways, floors and stairs Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris and other refuse Empty trash cans and other waste containers Wash windows, interior walls and ceilings Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing and electrical systems, and contact tradespersons for major repairs Perform minor repairs on appliances Perform safety and security checks Show apartments and offices to prospective tenants Move heavy furniture, equipment and supplies Perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair Water and tend to plants, lawns and/or gardens Assist in Construction of roofs and decks, preparing and pouring concrete Upkeep of campground infrastructure, Water system, Electrical system, and Septic system Maintain Campsite cleanliness May drive company vehicle around the campground to perform maintenance work Requirements Education: Some secondary education is required Experience: At least 2 years of maintenance experience are required Driver’s license is an asset Work conditions and Physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Work under pressure, Repetitive tasks, Physically demanding, Attention to detail, Combination of sitting, standing, walking, Bending, crouching, kneeling, Handling heavy loads, lifting Personal suitability: Dependability, Flexibility, Reliability, Client focus, Efficient interpersonal skills, Team player, Organized. Salary: $21.14 hourly, 45 hours per week Benefits: Accommodation on-site provided at a discounted rate, Uniforms provided by employer. On-site laundry facilities available at a cost. Travel cost covered if worker needs to relocate. Important Information: Position requires working weekends and holidays. Work schedule is 5 days per week.
