Handyman Job in Long Beach, California

I'm the founder of HomeFront Rising, a Long Beach-based nonprofit. We're supporting a Navy veteran who's plagued by a noisy neighbor. Specifically, we're helping him design and build a soundproof booth for his apartment. The veteran is somewhat of a handyman, but he needs skilled help with the design, figuring out supplies and building it. An engineer volunteered to draw some plans and advise us on the supplies, but he didn't quite finish. We're supposed to finish the project by May 31, so I'm looking at Wednesday 5/26-Monday 5/31 as likely work days. I need at least one handyman to help us get it done.
