Handyman Job in Washington, District of Columbia

We are a Building Services Company seeking experienced handymen for service throughout the Washington, DC Metro Area. This position requires a wide range of installation, repair and maintenance skills which include 9 but are not limited to); carpentry, appliance repair, locks and door, hardware, windows & doors, light plumbing, light electrical, painting, furniture assembly, art hanging, etc. for single family homes, condos and small businesses, etc. • Part-time position. • Position is 1099. Individuals applying for this position MUST meet the following requirements– Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities for the Post of Handyman • Must have 3 to 5 yrs. of experience and willing to learn. • Must have excellent customer service & communication skills. • Must have reliable transportation • Must have basic hand tools & basic power tools • Must be able to pass a background check • Must be Security conscious (?) • Must be highly observant. • Must have the ability to solve problems. • Must be smart and agile. • Must have good human relations. • Must have the ability to work under pressure. • Must be a good time manager. • Must have a positive attitude to work. • Must have the ability to prioritize tasks. • Must have the ability to follow instructions.
