Handyman Job in San Francisco, California

Personal Assistant administrative/light office duties about 50%, light handyman work about 50% Owner of a wellness based practice in the Castro, is looking for an assistant to help organize tasks and help make and keep goals, In addition, several minor repair jobs are needed and the work is split roughly in half. Job should be roughly 4 hours a day for roughly 6 weeks, Tuesday thru Saturday. Schedule is negotiable but should start at a set time between 8 and 9am. Long-term employment is a consideration after six weeks, to be negotiated. Some of the specific personal assistant and organizational tasks: - organizing bills, light filing and work with QuickBooks - organizing shelves - schedule management - making appointments Some of the specific handyman tasks: - rebuilding the frame of a bar with 2x12s and joists - tacking wires for components that span rooms - installing small removable lights - installing security cameras - stripping and repainting a built in dining room dinette Qualified applicants would have the following experience: - a BA/BS preferred, or currently enrolled as a sophmore or higher - testimonials for your organization skills and managing time punctually - recommendation letters from previous clients as personal assistant and/or a handyman service, preferably both - good interpersonal skills - interest in wellness, yoga, meditation, dance, healing, massage, acupuncture is a bonus - must be comfortable with clients with alternative lifestyles - can-do uplifting attitude Exclusions: - history of felony or sex offender charges - current or recent abuse or dependence on non-prescribed substances (occasional use of alcohol or is perfectly acceptable) Pay negotiable.
