Tenants generally stay a few weeks and upwards to a few months, even years. The Mt Bethel area is quiet without public transportation, though many conveniences are nearby. The job is ideal for a person in need of a residence and possessing handyman and managerial skills. You must be presentable and able to communicate easily. There is a possibility a tenant may be difficult and you must handle this in a professional manner. Managerial Duties: Weekly collection of rents Enter and generate a MS Excel weekly report Check tenant in/out of a room Weekly bank deposit Regular maintenance Handyman duties - additional compensation: Minor plumbing, electrical Painting Replace water filter Demo/install new laminate floor other The average time for Managerial Duties is approximately 10 hrs/week. Additional compensation for Handyman Duties is variable and has averaged $5000 per year.
