My experience includes designing three homes - two for friends and one for myself which I personally built with the help of a couple of bricklayers (subcontractors). Before starting construction I went to night classes for 6 months at Coronation Brick & Tile in Durban, where I gained hands on experience in laying bricks.
I also designed and built modern & fine furniture, complete kitchens, islands and pubs.
Repairing and restoring damaged fine furniture - depending on nature of the damage - was something I also enjoyed doing in addition to my photography.
